I have been playing chess since I was about 10 years old, taught the basics by an elder cousin. Since then I've played sporadically over the years, against friends and my trusty palm-top computers.
Recently I have decided to take my chess a little more seriously and try to improve my game and chess knowledge. Relying on the Internet for most of my other interests, this was the natural place to look for more information on chess.
Okay, so there's a lot of information out here. Where to start? Having looked around, I decided to create this website to keep track of the information I found.
One thing I wanted was information on the 'En Passant' move - now educated with the idiosyncrasies of this move, I've added it to the Basics section for other Beginners/Intermediates.
Hopefully this site will help you too, whether you're a beginner or a GrandMaster. Please feel free to suggest additions or even contribute your own information.
