2003 Grant
2003 sees a second successive £5,000 grant from Awards for All Wales. Once again the Club will be using it towards a Respite Holiday for members and carers to Midsomer Norton in Somerset. Last year saw a hard working committee exceed all expectations in their fund raising work.
The cheque was presented to the club, on the 24th January, by the Mayor of Fishguard, Mr David Williams, who very kindly arranged for a buffet to be laid on for the event at the Ship and Anchor in High Street, Fishguard. (Click here to see the photographs, click here for a report of the event.)
