On Tuesday 17th May 05 in brilliant sunshine Club members felt those little joys of spring had arrived when assembling for the regular meeting at St Teresa’s Convent Hall. Indeed weather conditions improve many aspects in life, it seems that everyone wears a smile and heads are held high and also those little birds & bees set to work after the dismal winter. In fact joy and happiness was rekindled for Roger Hibben & Ann Goodman who got engaged on 05/05/05 whilst on the Club’s respite holiday. The Chairman Mr Michael Lewis wished them both much happiness & many congratulations on behalf of all the Stroke Club members.
Reports of those members recovering from sickness or accident were given. Tommy Reynolds was convalescing at home and hopefully will be joining us at the next Club meeting. Lillian Evans was enjoying life being pampered by her son & daughter-in-law in Cardigan, recovering from broken bones in her foot. Rita was suffering from Portugal syndrome? Speedy recoveries to better health were extended to them
