CHAIRMAN'S ADDRESS Mr Lewis thanked all the committee for their hard work during the year, and expressed much pleasure and delight in carrying out his duties during his term of office with such a happy and dedicated team behind him which made his task that much easier to perform.

Congratulations to Rita on a very successful holiday at Midsomer Norton, made possible by the support of other committee members and helpers. However his own personal preference was for a return visit to Plymouth.

The Chairman also gave praise to all the fund raising efforts, so many donations in raffle prizes and the sacrifice in time and labour by all concerned, particularly the Secretary in his sterling efforts in obtaining grants from various aspects towards running of the Club.

Thanks were given to Bryn, Treasurer for maintaining such excellent fiscal records.

Mr Lewis stated membership had increased during the year, which was very encouraging and indeed our very aim so as to bring a better quality of life to those less fortunate than ourselves, but he hasten to add the very sad deaths of four of our members in the past eight weeks but knowingly we had brought some comfort and support to them during.

President's Address. Mr Fenemore apologised for not being able to take a more active role during the year but poor health prevented him from doing so. He congratulated the Committee for their sterling efforts but stated we must not rest on our laurels as to the high standard and respect the Club has built up within the District. We must review our methods of raising funds with new innovative ideas to maintain our current standards.

Treasurer's Report. Mr Bryn Lewis presented an audited financial statement for 2002-2003. Auditor's comments were such that payment by " Petty Cash" should be abolished. All future payments are made by cheque. Adoption of accounts was proposed by Judi Chapman & seconded by Viv Rowles. Agreed.
